What’s on offer?
- FREE STUDIO SPACE in purpose-built studios at University of Gloucestershire’s Performing Arts Centre, Oxstalls Campus, Gloucester for one week
- Accommodation (selected weeks only) on campus in University halls
- Working alongside other artists, companies and students
- Opportunity to build a relationship with Strike A Light
When does it take place?
Studio space available between: 9am & 5pm
- 7 August – 11 August 2023
- 14 August – 18 August 2023 (accommodation available)
- 21 August – 25 August 2023 (accommodation available)
- 29 August – 1 September 2023
What are we looking for?
- Companies/artists who make contemporary performance (dance, theatre, spoken word, puppetry etc)
- Companies/artists who feel that Strike A Light’s 7 principles are a good fit with your own ethos, values and way of working
- Artists who are open to a University student spending time in the rehearsal room, observing your process
You could be rehearsing a show, developing something new or just using the time and space to test ideas.
