We are seeking an experienced and creative content producer to lead the content creation for the Dash Arts website and social media channels. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the digital marketing strategy to expand and improve audience engagement with our digital content and ultimately to increase audiences for Dash Arts projects and programmes.  

This is a freelance position, working averagely 1.5 days a week, spread across 3 half days. As this is a freelance role there is flexibility in terms of hours/days to suit the right candidate.

We’ve created award-winning new work with over 10,000 artists and participants for live audiences of over 400,000 worldwide. Our international productions, events and education programmes expand the way we see the world.

We create exceptional artistic experiences. We listen to the stories around us and share them in workshops and unique productions in startling ways.  We bring theatre out of the theatre so that it collides with real life in unconventional spaces, through encounters with non-professional performers and through interactions with ideas and people you might not usually get to meet.

The role reports to the Dash Arts Executive Director, and liaises closely with Dash Arts Artistic Director and Chief Executive, Josephine Burton, for creative content and Dash Arts Senior Producer Cristina Catalina.  Veronica Revuelta Garrido, General Manager at Dash Arts, supports all team members with administration support.

Your main focus will be to support digital communications for Dash Arts with responsibilities including but not limited to:


  • Implementing Dash Arts Digital Strategy for social media marketing across all channels, direct communications and website including:  
    • Creating visual copy, reels and videos for distribution on social media, website and direct communications with Dash supporters and mailing lists with the aim of maximising engagement.  
    • Developing consistent content that maintains and expands our social media community 
    • Collecting and tracking monthly statistics from our digital marketing platforms 
    • Drafting copy for web pages, regular direct communications with supporters (monthly) and Dash mailing lists (fortnightly / monthly depending on activity),  and blog posts 
    • Maintaining Dash Arts’ website. 


  • Maintaining our audience-focused research, data collection through social media and reporting processes in line with GDPR, in collaboration with partners and funders through google analytics and hootsuite.
  • Maintain the Dash Arts brand identity in all communications.
  • Maintain Dash Arts’ regular communications with existing audiences and donors, putting strategies and campaigns  in place to encourage increased engagement with digital content.
  • Working alongside freelance production-specific marketing colleagues and the Dash Podcast producer to ensure that all external communication is consistent. 
  • Working within existing CRM systems when relevant.
  • Participating in and supporting Dash Arts events and activities.
  • Assisting with the administration of other marketing processes as required.
