We’re currently looking for Theatre Centre’s next Artistic Director. This is a rare invitation, combining new writing and national touring alongside a commitment to working equitably with young people and activism, and upholding the principles of inclusion and social justice.
It is a tremendous opportunity for the right person who will bring specialist skills in making work with and for young people, working to support their creativity; nurturing talented writers and artists; and building connections and relationships with teachers and schools locally and across the country.
As the artistic lead, the Artistic Director shapes the creative vision and direction of the organisation, ensuring it remains a driving force for young audiences across the UK. Working alongside the Executive Director/CEO as organisational lead, the Artistic Director will engage in all aspects of the organisation, from marketing and fundraising to finance and operations, demonstrating a hands-on approach in a close-knit team.
