Do you have significant experience in Casting at Associate level or higher? Are you experienced in leading the casting of productions? Do you have extensive knowledge of actors currently working in British theatre? Can you negotiate artists’ salaries and deal points? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, creative and deadline driven environment?
We are looking for an Associate Casting Director to lead on the casting of nominated projects and provide support on other productions, workshops and events undertaken by the Casting department. You will be assisting, supporting and advising the Head of Casting and wider team to support/achieve our organisational aims and artistic programming.
It is an exciting time to join the RSC under the new leadership of Daniel Evans and Tamara Harvey. The casting department casts a wide-ranging programme of work, from Shakespeare and his contemporaries through to bold new writing.
