Person Specification
We are seeking someone with excellent producing skills and a deep interest in supporting artists. We want a colleague who is committed to seeing locations such as Swindon and Southampton grow as creative places.
Ideally our Associate Producer will be based in or have direct, lived experience of at least one of our focus areas and a keen awareness of the various communities there. They will realise that this requires intense ‘bottom-up’ investment. The role requires someone with strong producing instincts, good interpersonal skills and a detailed approach to administration.
Tangle will provide support and can invest in skills. Essentially though a ‘self-starter’ is needed as time is of the essence. Tangle’s core mission is to further the creative excellence of artists in the UK of African and Caribbean heritages. The post-holder will need to reflect this mission in terms of their own identity and/or proven commitment to and knowledge of the needs of these creative communities. Tangle’s team is small and colleagues work remotely. It’s important to be able to balance a thoroughly collaborative approach with the confidence to work independently.
