We are looking for Box Office Assistants to join our pool of casual staff to provide an exceptional level of customer service to all Lyric patrons, visitors and staff, as well as be an ambassador for the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre. This role plays a central part in promoting Lyric shows, activities and working towards sales targets.
The successful applicants will have experience of working with the general public, the ability to work well under pressure and strong IT skills.
Purpose of Position
To provide an exceptional level of customer service to all Lyric patrons, visitors and staff and being an ambassador for the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Box Office Supervisor
CONTRACT: Casual
SALARY: £12.01 per hour
HOURS: Rotas will be drawn up in advance, based on the postholder’s availability. Hours can include early mornings, late evening and weekends. Minimum shift length of 3.5 hours.
HOLIDAY: Casual staff are entitled to the equivalent of 6 weeks paid holiday per year (increasing up to 7 weeks with long service), in line with the Lyric’s full-time staff. Holiday pay will be calculated in line with government guidance and legislation.
NOTICE PERIOD: 1 week
