The Battersea Arts Centre Events Department are looking to recruit a dynamic, personable and energetic team member who can offer commitment, excellent organisational skills and exemplary customer service to this exciting and challenging role. This is a casual role to support and deliver events ranging from weddings and large corporate hires to smaller meetings, conferences and family celebrations.
The role will require clear communication and liaison with different in-house teams to manage the complex elements of each event, ensuring that the entire event runs to a strict pre-agreed schedule on the day. The Event Manager will help to manage a team of casual event staff, leading by example with a calm, organised attitude and attention to detail. The Event Manager will be the first port of call for all teams in the event of any changes or issues on the day, and will be responsible for the correct and timely set up and break down of each event.
All applications must be submitted by 10am Thursday 7 September 2023. Successful shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview during the week commencing Monday 18 September 2023. Interviews will take place in person at Battersea Arts Centre. We can provide a BSL interpreter if required.
