This role is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in engaging audiences through digital media at GDIF 2023, London’s leading festival of free outdoor art, theatre, dance, circus and spectacle. Within the role there is scope to develop new social media ideas, experiment with content and build new social strategies that will reach and engage new and diverse audiences.
You will lead on everything digital, including the GDIF website, and work with our Head of Communications and Audiences to help devise and support creative communications campaigns that go beyond traditional promotion to connect with audiences across London.
We are seeking a confident communicator and creative storyteller who is both a highly organised team player able to support on campaign-wide duties and a proactive leader keen to contribute ideas, consolidate as well as challenge our current model of digital activity.
Location: GDIF’s office is in Greenwich, London, SE10
Availability: Must have full availability between 23 August – 10 September
Renumeration: £6,000 (50 days at £120 per day) total fee upon receipt of monthly invoices in arrears.
Contract: Freelance/fixed term ending September 2023
Hours: Part time May – July 2023, scaling up to full time from
Availability: August – September 2023. Timeline to be mutually agreed between successful applicant and Head of Communications. Weekend and evening work will be required during the festival.
