General Manager

ThickSkin is an award-winning theatre company based in Wigan, making work across live and digital platforms. We create bold and ambitious theatre; using our distinctive physicality and cinematic style to reach and inspire young, new and diverse audiences across the world.

We are looking for a brilliant person to join our growing team in the central role of General Manager, working closely with the Executive Team and across the organisation. This is a brand-new role and a genuine opportunity for the post holder to shape the general management function in an organisation that embraces innovation and invests in its people.

The General Manager supports a dynamic mix of people, projects and priorities in our unique and vibrant organisation. The post holder will be a main point of contact at ThickSkin and will manage our day-to-day operations, including key areas of HR, finance, fundraising, and tour management. They will work collaboratively with the Executive and Artistic Director, to deliver the Business Plan targets.
