The Marlowe Trust is looking for an exceptional Production Manager for a fixed term to support the fulfilment of our restaging of The Donmar Warehouse’s production of The Trials in August this year, with potential for both parties to review and extend the contract to include future projects.

Premiered in the UK in a sell-out run at the Donmar Warehouse last summer, the baton for The Trials is now passed to The Marlowe to create this new made-in-kent production using the same environmentally sustainable principles. Working with The Marlowe’s Producer and our brilliant Technical & Productions team you will be responsible for the production planning and fulfilment of this project for The Marlowe Theatre.

We are looking for someone with significant production experience, working on both large and small stages and with a range of production contacts within the industry. Ideally you would be Kent based but we are happy to discuss your location as part of negotiations. We want to work with people who are passionate about their work, resilient in the face of any challenge that comes their way and supportive of their colleagues.

The Marlowe is an inclusive employer. We value difference and recruit by merit based on fair and open competition. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds regardless of gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, citizenship, or any other aspect which makes them unique. We want to hear from all sectors including veterans.

We are a Creative Green organisation and are committed to taking action on climate change and environmental sustainability. If you would be interested in learning more about this opportunity, including engagement term, budget and fees, please read the attached job description and get in touch with Euan Maybank by email directly with your current CV.
