The Payroll & Accounts Officer will be responsible for accurately processing and managing payroll with our external payroll provider for all our staff and freelancers. This is a critical role within our organisation, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time. This role will also manage the expense claims and company credit cards.
In additional you will provide accounts assistance to the Management Accountant, posting journals, recharges and providing reconciliations.
HOME is a charity organisation operating under Greater Manchester Arts Centre Ltd with two small trading subsidiaries.
The post holder will be required to assist the Management Accountant in the closure of the month end accounts and provide support at year-end and during the audit. Other areas of responsibility and ad hoc projects may be included in the role from time to time.
Our financial Year- end is March 31st and the team work to schedules for our month end. Leave is restricted at these times of the year and month. This will be discussed with you during the recruitment process.
