As part of Lambeth’s Next Us programme, which supports NEET 16-24 year olds into creative and digital careers. We are recruiting an intern to join our team.
The purpose of this role is to provide the intern with the opportunity to develop as an administrator, whilst gaining an insight into the day to day running of an arts organisation. The intern will gain skills in accessible practice and an understanding of how to work with visually impaired and blind artists.
Extant is the UK’s leading professional performing arts company that explores visual impairment to create unique and innovative artistic experiences, placing visually impaired (VI) people at the centre of all it does: from the productions we create, to the artists we support, to the audiences we perform to and the participants we work with.
Our present focus sits across four areas of work: Evolve, Artist Development, Access Training and Participation.
