We are currently looking for 2 Senior Events Manager to join our Commercial Events Team on a full time, permanent basis.
The Commercial Events team manages all aspects of commercial venue hires across Southbank Centre ranging from small meetings to 2,500 seater events, filming hires, brand activations and full building closures. We’re best known to be the home of the BAFTAs, BFI Film Festival, film premieres and hold as well as hosting graduations for most of London’s top Universities.
The successful candidate will work across a variety of responsibilities which are not limited to:
- Enhance the reputation of Southbank Centre as an events venue, by delivering successful and efficient events.
- Promote, manage and coordinate operational aspects of Southbank Centre private hire Events, Brand Activations and associated commercial activities.
- Maximise income potential from all Southbank Centre resources to ensure all financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Line manage a team of Event Managers/Officer(s) with their development and performance to maximise income, ensure customer relationships are optimised and to cross sell where possible other services or products in collaboration with other departments.
- Support the Commercial Events Operations Manager in their role and deputise in their absence acting as the main point of contact for operational matters
