VAULT Creative Arts is looking for an experienced, collaborative, and passionate Technical & Production Manager to lead the production department in the successful delivery of the programmes across all VAULT venues, festivals and associated events.

SUITABILITY

We think you’ll likely be suitable for the role if you have held one or more of the following roles before

• Production and/or  Technical Manager (including Deputy roles) for an arts festival and/or receiving venue.
• Head of Stage, Lighting, or Sound for an arts festival or receiving venue.

PURPOSE

The Technical & Production Manager will be responsible for delivering the programmes across all VAULT venues, festivals, and associated events whilst maintaining strong technical and administrative systems, leading on safety and venue standards, managing a successful production team and ensuring an exemplary in-venue experience for all artists, audiences, hirers and staff.

The Technical & Production Manager will liaise with artists and hirers in advance, especially those with more complex requirements, and will work to ensure the smooth, efficient, and professional running of the spaces. They will advise the programming team on the suitability of productions to venues and devise ways to make the artistic programme deliverable. They will maintain administrative systems and procedures that the Production & Technical Coordinator will help deliver to maintain the production department’s compliance, efficiency, and professional standards whilst being responsible for the safety and upkeep of the technical infrastructure.
