A FREE year-long programme designed for young actors aged 17-25 to train and perform.
Applications are now open for Theatre Peckham’s FREE 8-month training and performance programme. Deadline for applications Monday 13 February.
Under the creative direction of Theatre Peckham’s CEO/Artistic Director Suzann McLean, Rep Company members will undergo training in Naturalism, Stage Combat, Script Analysis and Movement, film industry standard scenes for Showreels, and conclude with an autumn performance on Theatre Peckham’s main stage. Theatre directors delivering on this course include Suzann McLean, Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu, Kiel O’Shea, and more to come.
Throughout the year, Guest Practitioners are invited in to run specialised Masterclasses from some of Theatre’s leading practitioners. Previous Masterclasses have been led by Casting Director Nicky Bligh, JMK Winning Director Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu, Toyin Ayedun-Alase.
The Rep Company training is every Tuesday 10:30am – 1pm at Theatre Peckham and runs on Tuesday 21st March – 30th August.
Eligibility
You must be aged 17 to 25 to apply. All are welcome to apply and we are particularly interested in applicants who represent our community and are underrepresented in dramatic roles. This includes but is not exclusive to people from working class backgrounds, people with a disability, and those who identify as Black, Asian, have a mixed ethnic background, or identify with an alternative minority ethnic group.
