I am a tenacious, innovative arts leader and independent producer based in Hong Kong and the UK. I developed varied skills and experience across a number of jobs within arts management. I’d love to bring some or all of these skills as suited for each project, artist, organisation.

Leadership:

I was most recently Executive Director at Streatham Space Project, where I oversaw and successfully fundraised for a period of business transition, developing a new operating model in face of reduced arts funding. I secured a transition grant from Garfield Weston Foundation and my work safe-guarded the only performing arts venue in Streatham.

Fundraising:

I am a recipient of the Blackbaud Scholarship and completed my postgraduate certificate in Philanthropic Studies at the University of Kent; I have also received a bursary funded by Arts Council England and completed by Certificate In Fundraising – Chartered Institute of Fundraising

I won the Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy’s Giving Tuesday Competition for Digital Innovation.

Producing (independent)

I was awarded Stage One bursary and I work with artists creating ground-breaking theatre together; previous winner of Underbelly and New Diorama’s UNTAPPED Award, Fringe First and Asian Arts Award. I was also Associate Producer for Best of Enemies (West End).

Producing (General Management)

I oversee all aspects of the production – recent credits include The Dao of Unrepresentative British Chinese Experience (Soho Theatre – produced on behalf of Kakilang); The Lonesome Death of Eng Bunker (Omnibus Theatre – produced on behalf of Wattle and Daub & Kakilang); Blanket Ban (Southwark Playhouse – produced on behalf of Chalk Line). Previously General Manager for Creative Youth and Producer for In Good Company.

Producing (International)

I am a producer and consultant to a number of productions touring to the UK from Hong Kong, including City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong’s WILD the Musical, Rose Theatre Kingston 2023, the Hong Kong showcase at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, 2023 & 2024. I also support government and funding bodies including the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office.

In 2024 I worked as a leadership facilitator for PAC Australia (Australian Performing Arts Exchange) for the International Society for Performing Arts Congress in Perth. I received the Festival Travel Grant from the British Council in 2024 and attended the China Shanghai International Arts Festival to exchange and build collaborations. I was a supported producer on Horizon Showcase (England’s Edinburgh Fringe showcase)

Producing (Outdoor Arts)

I was on Without Walls’s Discover Programme and Outdoor Arts UK’s Festival Focus. I have been a resident/supported producer with 101 Outdoor Arts and also freelance supporting for their 10th Anniversary event.

Marketing and Ticketing

I am a recipient of the International Ticketing Association’s Professional Development Grant in 2022 and 2023 which enabled me to undertake learning and exchanges in Orlando and Seattle, US, building from my work as Box Office Deputy Manager for Pleasance; Box Office Supervisor for Park Theatre.

I was previously Marketing Assistant for The Coronet Theatre and I work or lead on marketing campaigns within many of my other roles.
