The Director of Producing will take a lead role in all produced work at the Royal Exchange Theatre, including main-house and studio productions, as well as supporting the work of the Engagement team.
The role will lead on forward planning and scheduling for all programmes of work at the Exchange and manage the producing team in the effective delivery and realisation of our work. In close collaboration with the Creative Director and Chief Executive, the Director of Producing will ensure that our produced work delivers against the Organisation’s stated aims, with robust financial planning and management. This role will be key in developing strong industry-wide relationships with creatives and co-producers, ensuring the quality and ambition of our work is realised at every opportunity.
The Director of Producing is a senior leadership role and the post-holder will contribute to the effective stewardship and management of the wider organisation, ensuring that the Royal Exchange retains its role as one of the most significant and exemplary full-time producing theatres in the UK.
