City of London Sinfonia is looking for a dynamic and experienced Finance and Operations Director to join the leadership team of our award-winning Orchestra based in the heart of London.
We are recruiting for an outstanding individual to play a critical leadership role and drive forward the organisation’s financial and operational models as we re-shape the strategy for the next 5-10 years. You will be joining CLS at a point of pivotal change, having welcomed a new CEO in spring 2023 and following the retirement of the company’s COO (Dec 2023) who navigated CLS through the Covid-19 crisis ensuring financial and operational stability for years to come.
The Finance and Operations Director will provide financial and operational leadership across the organisation, supporting the CEO in taking responsibility for efficient and optimum financial and operational performance. We are looking for a skilled and collaborative employee who is passionate about financial detail and enjoys the broader operational delivery of this role. The Finance and Operations Director will work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership team (Director of Participation and Director of Development & Communications), and with the Chair of the Finance and Operations Committee, the Board, and the wider staff team. The individual will proactively support and add to the positive culture of the team, and share our values of equity, equality, diversity and inclusion.
