Old Diorama Arts Centre is an arts creation and community centre, with Euston as inspiration, collaborator and stage. Community Champions Regent’s Park is a resident-led social action and wellbeing-improving volunteer programme, managed by Fitzrovia Youth in Action, with a home at ODAC.

The Euston area is currently undergoing major urban changes, with more planned for many, many years ahead. Stories of Regent’s Park Estate (SRPE) is a project making resident-led creative, positive change to the urban environment.

Through collaboration between local residents, artists and key city stakeholders, we aim to ensure that Regent’s Park Estate thrives. The ambitious project currently encompasses three elements: A new ‘useful public art’ commissioning project, the Regent’s Park Estate Story Trail, combining local heritage and identity with artistic interventions, street wayfinding and an opportunity to collect ideas for future interventions.

The Regent’s Park Estate Community Festival, founded 2022. Ensuring that resident consultation and ideas are joined up and collaborative with other projects, including the Council’s Safer Streets project.

For the Story Trail, we will collaborate with local residents to commission artistic public wayfinding and a series of 10 artistic installations, communicating stories of local ecology, culture and heritage, and providing points of interest and information throughout the trail. The Project Producer is the key role in the coordination and delivery of the Story Trail community engagement, artistic commissions and installation, and supports the delivery of Regent’s Park Estate Community Festival as a key public event for mass resident engagement.

We’re looking for someone friendly, organised, efficient, who sees ‘the bigger picture’, to work with the consortium of local partners and resident ‘Community Curators’ to produce SRPE over the next 18 months.

Open to all kinds of career paths, we are looking for someone with a real interest in the civic role and change-making potential of culture in communities and urban development, and the ability to work systematically to make projects happen.

Contract type: part time for 18 months
